About this Recipe
This cocktail started, as many great ideas do, with me not having the thing I actually needed.
I wanted to make a spicy twist on a traditional Negroni. Something with that lovely bitter edge, but a little longer, a little punchier, and with a proper Devil’s Dyke kick.
So we swapped the London Dry for our Chilli & Lime Gin, added Vermouth Actually, a splash of Campari, and if like me you drink your negoris in 3 glups and need to make it a littl longer, just add soda… Then I realised I didn’t have any soda.
What I did have was Red Bull, and It worked!
It’s spicy, bitter, bright and very drinkable.
A traditional Negroni’s slightly unhinged younger cousin, basically.
🍸 Ingredients
- 35ml Chilli & Lime Gin,
- 25ml Vermouth Actually
- 25ml Campari,
- RedBull
✨ Method

Pour the Chilli & Lime gin, Vermouth Actually, and Campari over ice in a whisky glass or tumbler.

Top up with Redbull.

Stir with a mixing spoon or straw

Garnish with a lime wedge and bird’s eye chilli
