About this Recipe
As the seagulls kick off their campaign this weekend in the WSL, I quite fancied creating a little shot to celebrate.
A very simple 3 ingredient combo, but a bit on the tricker side to make.
I wanted to replicate the blue and white stripes on their football shirt so had to find a blue a white drink that would ‘layer’. What other than Blue Curacao!
Blue Curaçao is a vibrant, citrus-flavoured liqueur known for its brilliant blue colour and contains enough sugar to balance the cream on top.
Have steady hand!
RECIPE
Grab a standard shot glass (usually 50ml)
- poor 15ml Blue Curacao to the bottom.
- Using the back of a teaspoon, carefully layer on top 15ml thick double cream. Dairy free cream works well too.
- Add the final layer by mixing 1 part lemonade, 1 part Curacao together and layering again using the back of the spoon.
