During hot summer months, or wet summer evenings, nothing tastes better than a refreshing tipple to finish the day.
Our Chilli & Lime gin’s versatility shines through in many cocktails, adding a unique twist to classic recipes. Ideal for warming up a mojito!
This cocktail was originally designed by the in-house mixologists at Devil’s Dyke Distillery for the 2024 Cocktail Masterclasses. We wanted to create a fiery tipple that combined Chilli & Lime Gin with traditional mojito ingredients.
If you prefer not too much heat, just reduce the chillies before muddling.
CHILLI & LIME GIN
Created from home-grown Cayenne red chilli peppers and lime zest, which are infused into our London Dry Gin. The result is a complex and harmonious blend that tantalises the taste buds. A spicy little number with citrus notes cutting through the warmth — bold but never overpowering, creating a multi-layered flavour profile that evolves with each sip. Also delicious with a tonic or ginger beer.

RECIPE
Muddle into a highball glass…
1 lime,
A bunch of mint,
3 brown sugar cubes,
Add…
2 slices of chilli,
50ml Chilli & Lime Gin,
Crushed ice, mix well,
Add 2 drops of Angostura Bitters,
Top up with soda,
Garnish with 2 straws, wedge of lime, chilli and sprig of mint.
